It's a fact that about half of the trips we plan, never happen. This week, we were going to Washington, DC to view the cherry blossoms. It didn't happen. Later in the week, we were going to the other Washington to visit my wife's aunt in Tacoma. That one didn't happen either, and to make things worse, it was the second time for that one.
So where are we going now? Well, with a little luck, Dollywood which is only a little more that an hour away. Then over the week end, we hope to go to Helen, Georgia, which is a little resort in the north Georgia mountains. We've never been there before which is all the reason we need. It's not the nation's capital, and it's not the Great North West, but we're due for a trip that really happens.
How"have to change some dollars for grits"ard
(P.S. About those cherry blossums. I took a picture of the one's in my yard. Washington would have to go some to top that. If you are really interested,I'll email you the picture.)
