After returning to Glen's house, the eleven of us proceeded to let the emotions out. We realized that Steve, Matt, and Greg were most likely caught. Jamey was not to be found and our only hope was that he would arrive at the restaurant we had picked as a meeting point if any of us became separated. After finishing off the pizza from earlier in the evening, we realized that the video camera we had been using to record the night's events was with the three back in the classroom. This was not good since most all of us had been taped on it at some point in the evening. A few of us decided to make a quick run by the school to look for any additional information and to look for Jamey. A few people thought he might have run into the school to hide on top of an overhang because he had offered that as a possible hiding place a few days earlier. We worried that Jamey had fallen and broken his neck while trying to climb up on one. Fortunately, we were wrong.

One thing we did know was that some parents had been summoned. While returning from the mud bog to the first house meeting, Matt's dad had driven by us on the back road. We hid out of sight from him but that confirmed our suspicions that the police had found Matt for sure. Also, during one of our trips back to the school, just as the sun was starting to rise, one of the maintenance workers pulled in front of us with his pickup truck and asked what we were doing. We said we were looking for a friend who was missing. After giving us the once over, he let us go.
