I dunno-- I have never head of any such thing in Canada. In fact, I am finding some of these stories pretty shocking. My senior class did pull a prank on the teachers in our senior year, but not as a traditional thing. We got some inside help from a teacher who was leaving the school that year and filled the teacher's lounge with inflated balloons one night. Of course, the staff got us back-- at our pre-grad party (called the dry grad, since it was alcohol free) there were various prizes being awarded. Two of the prizes were simple $250 awards. As it turns out, though, the two prizes were lumped together as 500 one dollar coins, all of which were in a garbage bag which also contained the popped remains of all the ballons from the lounge prank. I love a good bit of irony.
