This is for Karen who started a Beanie Baby discussion a while back:
This past week on an interstate in Atlanta a large container of Beanie Babies spilled open scattering the little critters over five lanes of rush-hour traffic. This was in a area where the posted limit is 55, but most of the vehicles are moving at least 20 mph faster than that. It was a horrrrrrible scene with little bitty teenie weenie beanie bits flying all over the highway. Some beanies managed to remain intact and motorist were driving along with their doors open, scooping up the little critters at dangerously low speeds. One lady jumped from her car, grabbbed one, then dove back in and took off. She got on TV. The unbelievable part is that no people were killed. The death toll among the Beanies was ghastly.
