Yesterday afternoon we went to see a performance of the musical "Annie" put on by the local Christian school. I have seen both the Hollywood movie (with Carol Burnett as Miss Hannigan) and the made-for-TV adaptation of the musical (with Kathy Bates as Miss Hannigan) and have also seen the musical performed live at least twice before.

I never before noticed before that when Daddy Warbucks ordered that preperations be made for Annie's adoption party, his secretary Grace Farrell got all excited and exclaimed, "AND CHEESE?" Daddy Warbuck: "Cheese?" Grace: "YES, CHEESE! WE HAVE TO HAVE CHEESE!"
