Anyone who knows Leen well understands her love for the color purple. When she buys horse equipment and supplies and comes home to tell me about it, she says, excitedly, "And it's PURPLE!" When I first told her I implemented the memo feature in RinkChat, she said, without missing a beat, "COOL!! Can my memos be PURPLE!??"

So when, in the Boston airport, we found wash of purple stuff out of the corner of our eyes, and we turned to see that there was a little wall-less store called "Purplicious," which only sold purple things, I was aghast in disbelief. Purple shirts, purple towels, purple potholders, purple stuffed animals...purple everything. Leen bought a purple shirt that lists all the stellar attributes of a "purple person." The lady wrapped it up in purple tissue paper and put it in a purple bag.

I have never seen a color-themed store before. I have to admit, the selection of merchandise certainly caught the eye, and I bet they get a lot of sales just from how different and eye-catching a stand of purple things looks amongst to all the other businesses crammed into the airport.

But I still don't believe that Leen, finder of all things purple, managed to find a purple store.
