During my absence, there was a thread on what constitutes being a "regular" vs. a "newbie" here on RinkWorks. I've deleted the thread, but that's not to say the question isn't an important one.

You're a regular here if you post regularly. You're a newbie if you're new. Period. Acceptance on the part of others has nothing to do with it, but, in any case, those with questions about whether they were accepted by the other regulars here seemed to have been some of the ones with the least basis for doubt. We're a pretty welcoming and accommodating crowd, as the testimonies of nearly every regular participant here indicates.

But like I say, none of that is relevant. You're a regular if you post regularly, and that's all there is to it. I would be ashamed to run a site where the definition was any more exclusive than that.
