Today I saw for the first time in years a huge white cat that lives somewhere around here. I don't know if he's a stray, but I suppose so. This cat made me think of how different the sounds different cats produce are. This cat, now, has the most annoying meow I've ever heard. It starts with a low tone that quickly rises in pitch, then reaches a really stupid peak and falls down again. It would be perhaps less annoying if the voice sounded a bit scratchy, but it doesn't. Not at all. I hope I never have to hear that again.
