Sorry I couldn't have been more help.
Let me tell you about the toughest driving test of all.(And I'm not making this up.) It comes late in life when your reflexes slow down and your eyesight begins to go. That's when your kids begin to whisper to each other about your ability to drive. Sooner or later your car keys disappear and your kids begin to say things like, "Any time you need to go anywhere, Dad, just give me a call and I'll drive you." Or, "Riding the bus is really cheaper and more convenient." No, I haven't taken that test yet, but I've been driving for 52 years and I've seen it happen to friends and relatives. It hits them like a death in the family. I drove 150 miles today with four of us in the car, and nobody screamed in terror. I think a couple of them in the back seat took a short nap. That's a sure sign of confidence, so I guess I'll be behind the wheel a little longer. Later this week, I plan to hitch a trailer behind my truck and drive to southern Georgia. I've done it many times and I'm not the least bit concerned. I'll see guys 10 and 15 years older than me who are doing the same thing, and while we're there, we'll be riding motorscooters all over the place.
So good luck on those driving tests, and when you pass, drive conservatively, especially those first two years. Enjoy the freedom that driving gives you and remember that nothing lasts forever.
