In Bible class, we studied depression. We studied the depression of David. I mean this guy is really really depressed. He tells God nobody cares about him. There are different types of Psalms. One type is imprecatory. Here is an example. Psalm 140:9-10

Let the heads of those who surround me be covered withe the trouble their lips have caused. Let burning coals fall upon them; may they be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, never to rise.

Imprecatory is asking God to hurt the enemy. David wrote many imprecatories. Back to the
point, David was very depressed and wrote depressing things, as you did, but as you get to the end of Psalm he is dancing and praising God.

Or in Psalm 142:4
Look to my right and see; no is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.

David was probably at his lowest right here. Saying no one cares for him. We know at least one person did. God.

Perhaps you could do something like he did. Put your some happy poems first, then the sad ones, then the ones after the "great" depression. If God helped you out of the depression, perhaps you could write some praising him for that and put them at the end? Just a suggestion.
