I remember. It was one of the first things I've read here.
I remember that it generated a strong reaction, the reaction caused discussion and, finally, Sam decided to leave it instead of deleting.

My rule is: if I think that it's interesting, thought-provoking, or will in some way cause discussion, I'll post it.

At any rate, what we do is always prone to some sort of criticism by other people. We shouldn't avoid criticism from other people: it make ourselves stronger, causes discussion, and discussion is the only way we have to challenge our position, our ideas - definitely, to become more mature.
