Hey, all you fishermen! Look in your tacklebox and see what the model number is on your De-liar and who made it. I have three; a model 228 made by Langley, and two Zebcos model 228 and 208. I'm trying to find out what other models were made and if there were any other manufacturers. Is three enough to start a collection?

For all of you non-fishermen, a De-liar is a little combination scale and measuring tape that is supposed to keep fishermen honest. They are sometimes given to fishermen as a gag gift, but they are really quite useful. After the fisherman weighs and measures the fish he can toss the De-liar back into his tackle box and then go ahead and lie as usual. Isn't that great!
Anyway, tell me about yours, or your dad's, or even grandpa's. De-liars have been around for half a century.
