YES! Legacy of Time RULES! ;) The music rules, the plot rules, the graphics rule, the cinematics rule, the costumes rule, Arthur rules... it all RULES. And the company that made it (Presto Studios) rules too, because they let me go and visit them. (The Chameleon JumpSuit costume is extra-impressive in RL.) Plus, it's where my nickname comes from. ;)
And, even though LoT IS the third game in a series, you can buy it without having played the first two and understand the story easily. Just read the backstory in the manual. It's really good.
Kaz!: If you haven't played Buried In Time (game #2), you should go play it. The story is extremely well-done (better and quite different from LoT's) and it helps flesh out the backstory - even if you feel you know the ending from playing LoT, there's a lot of complexity and coolness to the plot anyway. The only things I don't like about BIT are that the ending isn't as cool as LoT's ending, and pretty much all the actors for the characters are different. (I can't STAND the actor that plays Gage in BIT... ugh. At least Arthur's voice is the same in both games.) It's a fun game, even though the technology is a little dated.
