Heh heh... Well, that brings up another story... See, I inherited this wonderful trait from my father and his mother-- I have, for all intents and purposes, no upper lip. It looks very silly, so I have to have a mustache to cover it. (People who have known me without facial hair virtually all agree that I look much better WITH facial hair.) The next problem, though, is that I look extraordinarily goofy with a mustache and no other facial hair. Hence the goatee.

I tried a full beard once. I don't like the way it works on me, though. Besides, I like to keep as much of my face clear as possible to maintain some semblence of youth. :-)

When she calmed down enough to explain herself, she said my dad looked EXACTLY like his mother. Until his facial hair grew back, she couldn't look at him without laughing... Before that, I had never seen my dad get embarrased about ANYTHING." Monkey
