Oooo. Where in New Hampshire? :-) Will you have something rustic available, like a warm, toasty horse barn with hay-strewn rafters available, so everyone can camp out in sleeping bags upstairs and spy on Timmy?

Anyway, on my last vacation out west, we found that doing Bed 'n Breakfast places was a lot cheaper than booking a hotel or motel. Plus you get well fed. Of course, if B&B inns are overly popular in New England, then the opposite will be true instead, pricewise.
