> Well, I just figured I'd introduce myself! ;) Many of you have seen me in RinkChat, but there weren't very many people in there the first time when I introduced myself, so... here I am. :)

> Anyway, I'm Sosiqui. I'm female, 19, a Christian, a sophomore in college, attempting to major in graphic design, living in Northern California. In my past, I lived in Europe for 5 years. I therefore LOVE to travel, and have had many chances to do so. I am a Disney-theme-park-o-holic (but, oddly enough, NOT a Disney-o-holic), and LOVE travelling there. (Give me a ticket to Epcot in Disney World, and I'll love you for all time. That's my faaaaaavorite park. EVER.)

> I have many other obsessions, though. I love to read - my favorite authors are a mixed bag. Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, C.S. Lewis, Madeline L'Engle, Peter S. Beagle, Jerry B. Jenkins and Alexandre Dumas. I especially love fantasy, and also sci-fi to some extent. I LOVE to write, usually fantasy with a Christian slant, after the style of C.S. Lewis (although I do write sci-fi AND do a lot of poetry as well). I'm currently working on a Christian fantasy-like novel that I want to publish someday.

> As for things on screens that I like to stare at, I mostly stare at my computer screen. The ONLY TV show I watch on a regular basis is Mystery Science Theater 3000. I also like VeggieTales, 3-2-1 Penguins, and all the Wallace & Grommit shorts. Again, a mixed bag. ;) My favorite movies are The Last Unicorn, Ever After and Left Behind. The other things that I like to stare at on a screen are adventure games - I LOVE adventure games, the kind that tell a story, create an immersive world, and make good puzzles I can twist my brain around. My favorite games are the Journeyman Project series, the Myst games, the Monkey Island games, and several other one-title 'series' that I'm sure no one here has heard of. ;)

> And, to throw in the random things... my favorite color is purple. My favorite animals are platypuses, Labradors and most other dogs, all species of parrots, and dolphins. My favorite food is chocolate. My favorite flowers are irises and roses. I am single, single, never-been-on-a-date-EVER single. :p I am extremely shy in real life, but not so shy online. I can go from profoundly insightful to hyper in a very short period of time. ;) I've been told I have a great sense of humor.

A few months ago, I was summarily chewed up and spit out by a community I'd been a leader in for 2 years. (That was NOT NOT NOT a pleasant experience...) Ever since, I have been looking for another online community to settle down in. I haven't found one yet, but I've enjoyed my time in RinkChat, and I'm beginning to think this might be a good place for me. :)

Chocolate is my favorite food, too. And the iris is my state flower, so I guess we can be friends.
How do you feel about antiques? And motor scooters, especially antique motor scooters. (I'm expected to ask that last question. If I don't, they might drum me out of RinkWorks.)
