I'm going to squander Sunday afternoon watching the race at Rockingham. I hope it is safer than the one last Sunday. I'll be pulling for Michael Waltrip to win again, but the sentimental favorite has to be Dale, Jr. I have a lot of personal favorites in this race. Bill Elliott, Sterling Marlin, Mark Martin, the brothers Labonte and the brothers Burton, plus Dale Jarrett. All are strong contenders, but I think it would be great if somebody who had never won before could chalk up their first win. Look for rain delays, slick track problems even if it's dry, and complaints about excessive tire wear. I really miss Ned, and Buddy, and Benny, but I suppose they have earned a rest.
