At lunch today we were discussing the stupid dividers in the dining hall. My friends suggested they were put there for privacy.

What I thought: Privacy schmivacy! They have big holes in them that you can see and hear everything through, so that *can't* be it.

How far I got: "Privacy schmivacy! They have OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT!!!

Then I had to spend ages trying to explain my horror at what I'd done.
