That was only one of the things that scared me in those days. I was six. But think about it. In those days we didn't have TV and the only movies I had seen were in black and white on a small screen. Then I was taken to the Knickerbacher (sp?) Theater in Nashville, sat on the 4th row right under this eeeeeenormis screen, and this little wooden kid gets eaten by a whale right before my eyes in technicolor. I was a basket case. It takes a little more to scare me now, but the lesson wasn't wasted. Even now, I don't care for violent movies.
