Did you notice how, so far, every single how-to has had one red letter? This was obviously done on purpose. How To Be Funn|y|. How To Be |R|omantic. How To Be Persu|a|sive. Each time it was a letter in a different position in the title, but always in the last word. Each time it was a letter that didn't appear anywhere else in the title.

The letters, in order of release date, are y, R, and a. Perhaps this could be rearranged to spell Ray. This, however doesn't make any sense. I suspect that it is a backwards message slowly unfolding itself and will be revealed at the final how-to, and Sam is doing it to give the intelligent ones (the ones who can decode it) a chance to prepare before he strikes. Look at it! Look at what it could spell out!
