> I agree. Really, is there anyone who DOESN'T have a story of a crush/relationship that started when you met someone at church? So many people find it hard to find someone who shares their values... wouldn't church be a good place to meet someone that did? And you found her attractive? How dare dare you! (Women hate that!) ;) Maybe you should also give your lady-friend a little more credit. It takes 2 to tango, as they say. > > Do svidaniya, > Jannette ("Whose parents met at a dinner fundraiser for the Knights of Columbus")
I should have mentioned this in my reply to Brunnen-G a moment ago, but I just remembered-- The only thing I can say in my defense was that I think I stated my problem poorly in the first place-- A better way of saying it is that it seems to me to be a bit presumptuous for me to start thinking about relationships with someone (ANYONE) based on a ten minute conversation. Of course, that reasoning doesn't have any impact on the things you or BG have said. I think I'll have to stop being so negative about myself and just accept that it's OK to think about those things with someone I have just met when the situation warrants it. Thanks for your comments/advice. :-)
