Just to avoid confusion, let me make the following points.
1. The Dukes lived in Hazzard County. Hazard, Ky is a city, the county seat of Perry County. As far as I know, the city in the Dukes TV show had no name.

2. Hazzard County was supposed to be in Georgia, but the show was filmed in California which looks nothing like Georgia.

3. The Dukes spelled their Hazzard with a double z, but Hazard, Kentucky was named for Oliver Hazard Perry (look him up in your history book)who only used a single z. Perry County also took it's name from the same guy.
I remember my mother saying that she wished they had named the town Oliver. And that was before the Dukes were ever on TV.

This is important stuff.
