I feel the same way about theaters-- love the big screen, hate the crowds. My local theater is usually nearly deserted. Often, we have the entire showing completely to ourselves! (I have no idea how they stay in business).

There is also a rule that everyone sits as far away from all other groups as possible. I am so spoiled I feel annoyance when I visit a theater in the city and someone sits in front of me. My first thought is, "Geez, can't they find somewhere to sit where they aren't right in front of other people???" and then I look around and realize no, they can't.

Granted, for Star Wars it will be a zoo, but overall its a good deal out here.
