I don't do either. "Hehe" has always bugged me deep down inside because I've always seen it spelt "heehee," and "hehe" looks like a Siamese twin pronoun. An evil, mischievous part of me always tells me, whenever I see "hehe," to type "sheshe." I don't, though, because it's not one of those things that are actually wrong.
I don't recall ever seeing "heheh." It's extremely weird because, even though it's symmetrical (and therefore Good and Just), it's clearly pronounced HEE-HEH. Which is extraordinarily strange.
