Just like in the song, it was cold and damp. But in true California tradition, the sun came out and with sweater, it was nice. The strawberries were just beginning to be picked. There are lots of new vineyards up along 101 and the pruning process is underway. I got to see a lot of friends and realtives and everybody was doing pretty well. Even my sister, who has been worse, was better. My nephew was remodeling an old house and my friend, Maurie, was recovering from eye surgery. I guess, if I went to check up on how everybody was doing, it was a successful trip.
And the food in Morro Bay is still great.
