Heh, no, he knows what it means and he uses it properly. I was tired when I wrote that post (as I am for this one-- coincidence?) and was not very clear. :-)

I basically meant that if I /didn't/ know what it meant, I would probably be far more insulted and upset. (My other roommate often jokes, "But Don isn't pedantic-- He has NO interest in children".) As it is, though, I KNOW he is using it correctly, and that I AM pedantic, so it doesn't bother me. :-)
