Today the presale tickets for the U2 concert in Columbus went on sale, at 10:00am. I'd already registered information at Ticketmaster yesterday. I was all ready to go.
And of course, I get up this morning at 9:45, ready to get my order in right at 10:00.
And, of course, I have NO INTERNET ACCESS. You'd think that with a name like "Network Operations", they'd be able to, you know, keep the network operational?
I finally got access back around 10:20. My friend sends me an IM. "*bleep bleep* they're already out of presale tickets! did you get any?" I reply "no, I just got internet access back a minute ago, because Netops *bleep bleep*". Then, to drive the point home, I immediatly lost access again.
I think Netops has telepathic spies. They know what I'm thinking, and they decide "no, we shouldn't let him have U2 tickets" so they cut off the internet.
Can you tell I'm annoyed?
Oh well. The rest of the tickets (i.e. the not presale ones) go on sale Saturday morning. I guess I'll have to get up early Saturday to try and get some. Pshaw.
