In some ways she's more outgoing than I am, and I've been in the public school system my whole life. So I don't think that home schooling necessarily stunts your social growth. I think it's a personality thing. People who are shy are more comfortable with being home schooled, so they tend to be home schooled more often than others. People switch around the cause-and-effect. It's just a theory, though.

I'm not dissagreeing with your post, but I'd like to address something you said in it. You said that your friend is more outgoing than you are, and you use that as an example of how she is more socially advanced than you. I don't think the being outgoing neccesarily implies social maturity. I know many people who are extremely outgoing, but are incapable of having any sort of intelligent conversation without making farting noises on their arm. I think a true sign of social maturity is probably finding some sort of happy medium being extrememly introverted and extremely extroverted. Anyways, I don't really know why I'm posting this, and I'm sure the grammar and vocabulary and spelling and everything is all wrong, but that's understandable, because I went to public school. ;-)
