I'm quite familiar with P. G. Wodehouse and own several of his many many books. One has to admire how prolific the guy was. Unfortunately his humor is all too gentle to be popular in mainstream audiences today. But he's already proven his ability to endure.

Are you sure that's true and not just a coincidence of personal experience? I'm a dog person myself. I can tolerate cats, and I could probably even become attached to one if I actually owned it, but cats and I just don't seem to click.
