"Oh Dad" is actually a neo-absurdist play by Arthur Kopit... I didn't realize that there was a screen adaptation. It's actually pretty good (the play, anyway) - it makes a lot of sense on a lot of different levels, and a lot of nonsense on a few. In short, it's a classic of the absurdist genre.
