Well, I don't have the same common themes, but I've seen a couple of recurring elements in many of my dreams. They're either taking place in large buildings with many floors (like hospitals or schools), or they're about travels -- often by some collective means of transport, be it bus, train, plane or boat. It's mostly boats or ferries, and sometimes a combination of large building and boat; a cruise ship.

A few times I've dreamt in comics. I've actually been inside Donald Duck comic stories, with new panels for every scene.

Also, I sometimes have very fun dreams after I've played first-person-shoot'em-ups for a long time (like Quake etc.) where I am *inside* the game myself, going around shooting people. It seems kind of odd that I find it amusing to run around trying to shoot someone, especially if you know me. I'm not the person who would hurt anyone intentionally ever! So I was a bit shocked when I woke up after having dreamt that I aimed for, shot at and hit a man's head to the effect that it was blown away, much like with JFK. In the dream, it was totally OK and I had a good feeling about it (because that was what I aimed for!), but when I woke up, I felt like I had been stone cold and without respect for the other guy's life.

I've dreamt some *really* cool and funky music stuff a few times, but never been able to remember it when I wake up, which is very annoying. But the cool thing is I know I have it in me to make cool music!
