I would guess I'm tossing out three of four messages that I write. And I've been doing this consciously (and unconsciously, I'd imagine) for... erm... two years now? *frustration* > > Geez, you too? I thought that I was the only one who did things like that. I estimate that I post about one in every ten messages that I spend serious time on. Sometimes I spend the majority of my day at school thinking about responding to certain forum posts, writing them up, and then, for some reason, deciding not to post them. The topics range from really minor things to major contriversial issues. Some of them even new threads of a fairly decent size; most of those ones would fit into the catagory of "rant" I think. So, why don't I end up posting? For the most part, I think that the messages that end up getting thrown out by me are in the "Too little, too late" catagory (although, strangely enough, I sincerly doubt that anyone here would think of them in that sense) or the "Transient Conditions in my Life" catagory (by the time I'm done those monsters --one of which was over 10 000 words--, I've usually resolved whatever the transient condition was! Well, I guess with 10 000 words, is anyone really suprised?). Also, I don't seem to like posting short messages. It just doesn't quite feel right for me. I guess that's just my style -- long, semi-thoughful, and semi-convaluted. > > -Ka"Post button or the 'X' button...."z!
I like short posts fine.
Don "The Monkey'My in-name quotes, however, tend to always be monstrosities where I get all of my final thoughts in even if they are most definitely not worth stating, like this one and so many other examples I could think of, but shouldn't list here, because that would be going overboard'man" Jackson
