That sounds like the way I was about motion sickness. I have never had it, and at first I didn't understand how anybody else could. But I found out that it's real and pretty miserable. If I'm driving with someone who has it, I've learned to put them in the front seat and take curves slowly. I even go out of my way to avoid roads that might trigger an attack. My wife used to barf all over everytime we traveled by car, plane, or boat, but after a few million miles, she has adjusted and doesn't even take those little pills anymore.
