Thanks for the correction and to Sam for the re-wording. As author of said joke, I concur! I dashed it off in all of 3 minutes, aiming for a "I can't believe anyone would tell a joke that contrived" effect, and I erred on the historical facts which are so important when luring unsuspecting people into a really bad joke. Of course, palm pilots will be as antiquated as Pong and Teddy Ruxpins and other techno-fads in a few years, so this joke will age poorly!
