You might wanna give it a second chance. At first it looks like a normal prison movie, then interesting things start to happen. It was really quite excellent. So good, in fact, that I actually bought a Stephen King book (he wrote the book that the movie is based on). It marks only the 5th King book that I like.

As a tangent, anyone else notice that there are two Stephen Kings? The one who writes garbage (Cujo, Carrie, Firestarter) and the one who writes incredibly good stories (Eyes of the Dragon, Dark Tower series, Green Mile). Wonder why that is.
