My dad said the girl died on the way to the hospital. That's about all that I've confirmed so far. But my dad also says that the teacher shot his girlfriend, then killed him.

It was just so sudden, and I don't think too many people saw this coming. Everyone at school is in mourning. Even I am affected more than I thought I would be. Hopefully, I'll keep you updated.

2 stories:

1)When I was little I went to pre-school, like a lot of people. My teacher was this fabulous woman who I adored and who taught me how to love learning(even if she didn't manage to teach me any social skills, but hey I was a tough case). When I was about eight she was shot by her husband in a local park while doing charity work and then he shot himself. They had like four kids. Because of that they dedicated the pre-school and a part of the park to her memory...

2)When I was in seventh grade I had a math teacher who was really great. He made math fun, and he had a great sense of humor. Also, he was the drama producer, and I was in a play he did. I liked him a lot.

He and his wife were in a car accident just a little after Christmas. They were newlyweds, only about a year or so together. He died, and she survived. I got the call that he was dead from a friend in the play. It was the first time I ever cried about someone dying(my grandmother died later that year and I was too young at eight to understand fully about my preschool teacher).

I think teachers dying sucks. I sympathize with you, Marvin, and I hope that you are able to deal with it.

Mel"Dying sucks, period"anie
