best & worst of 2000 posted by syrinx on Sunday, December 17, 2000, at 21:42:49:
Best: Finding God for the first time in my life (September).
Worst: Realizing that it shouldn't have taken so long for me to see that truth.
Best: Becoming closer to my parents, brother, and grandmother than I have ever been in my life. I pretty much tell my mom everything now, which I used to be afraid to do.
Worst: There were some moments of sheer stupidity at the beginning of the year.
Best: Being a tad more outgoing, which has enabled me to become friends with some really wonderful people.
Best: Not being afraid to open myself up once in awhile and let people know how much I appreciate them.
Worst: Not giving my dog enough love (she's a beagle named Penny).
Best: Going to our church's Thanksgiving hymn sing thing with my dad because we don't spend much time together.
Best: Going to the Audio Adrenaline/Fono/Raze concert with my dad.
Worst: Almost getting killed by an overly enthusiastic kid jumping up and down behind me.
Best: Realizing that it's true...everything happens for a reason, and if I have to endure bad things along with good things in order to become the person I'm supposed to become, then I'm willing to accept it all and make the best of what I'm dealt.
Worst: Waiting and waiting for something to happen and feeling like it never will.
Best: Feeling happy almost every day, and singing whenever possible so I can let others know how happy I am.
Worst: People who tell me to, "please stop singing, you're causing my eardrum to break."
Best: Realizing that I am an awesome person and I accept myself for who I am, faults and all.
