One phone call and Blackie was on her way home.

> I guess the lesson here is, if your dog gets lost, post a notice at all the schools in the area. A picture helps. Dogs are attracted to kids and kids like dogs, so a school is better than all the telephone poles and grocery stores where notices might be posted.

Yay for Blackie! I used to have a black Lab named Blackie when I lived in Lousiana. He was such an awesome dog...He'd follow me around on my bike, go fishing with me, and try to go to school with me. It broke my heart when we moved and left him there with my grandma. she took care of him for a while, then he ran away and joined a pack of strays...he was the best.
