I wonder if a cane would work? I used a cane when I was recovering from a broken ankle. Even after the cast came off, I still needed the cane. I went to Santa Catalina and found that at the airport, on the plane, on the boat across the channel and during the whole time I was in Avalon, people were extra nice. They held doors open, offered me their seat and sometimes even stepped back to let me in line. I'm going to Disney World in a few weeks. I wonder if I can find that cane?
