Peace

I just wanted to throw in a comment on the whole situation that's been going on here since last night. Right now, the measure of peace that has been achieved is reassuring, to say the least. For some reason, I felt the urge to take this quote from my first post here (over a month ago-- Wow, I've been here forever). (Please note the sarcasm.)

"OK, enough rambling. Sam, if you read this, I just want to tell you-- RinkWorks is a thing of beauty and you should be very proud. When I've finished reading the rest of the Journal archives, I'm going to send you a nice long e-mail expounding on my feelings, but for now, I just had to say something about how much joy this place brings me."

Well, the email hasn't been written yet (before I came along, they just called them crastinators) but the sentiment still stands. I think the way things have been resolved doesn't really mean as much to me as the simple fact that they /have/ been, at least as far as I can tell from reading all the posts and seeing people in RinkChat today. I am proud to be a part of a community where people can not only resolve their differences quickly and effectively, but at the same time produce some thought-provoking discussion on some very deep and interesting issues. Well, I guess that's about all I have to say. Thanks again, Sam, and also Dave and Leen and all others who contribute to this site.

Don Jackson
