Bloody hell, Dave (and everyone), let's lighten up a bit.

To those offended: I wasn't in RinkChat when "it hit the fan", but from what I've read, there was nothing particularly offensive to start this asanine chain of events and opinionated posts. A joke carried out too long? Please. That happens every day in RinkChat. It was all going to happen sooner or later.

Mainly Dave: Why? That's the price of popularity. It happens ALL THE TIME, with many things. You know why the present 'sucks' and "The Good Old Days" seemed better? There weren't as many people chatting. As the rooms became more crowded, the subjects changed to fit the majority of the new user's interests. The old crowd apparently doesn't like this at all, and is even compelled to vent about how they feel annoyed every time they log in.
I'm trying to make a point, but I'm not sure what it is... If you only want to talk to ONLY Sam and famous and Brunnen_G (This is hypothetical, please don't take it the wrong way) , set up your own private chat room and don't tell anyone else where it is. Then you'll be able to stay happy together forever and ever, and never have to be interrupted by new ideas and people.

Sorry this is a mess, but I think my underlying idea's here somewhere. I understand what Dave and the rest of the annoyed people are feeling... that their sacred meeting place has been swiped by younger people with different ideas and opinions. It doesn't seem fair, but there's no way around it on a popular site with a public chat.
Okay, I'm done.
