It wasn't. It was a general comment. But I thank you for your response.

You are absolutely correct. However, I will repeat what I said earlier: I am /not/ in any way accusing Sam of /intentionally/ hurting people's feelings.

What happened was that Sam asked me why I thought people might have gotten upset last night. I responded as well and as truthfully as I am able. What I said was that I thought /then/ that what was said made it /look/ like Sam and Dave were intentionally hurting people's feelings and that this /appearance/ made people upset.

I am no longer upset, of course. All I'm trying to do is explain why I was upset then. I'm not trying to make an issue out of anything, I'm just answering a question that was put to me.
