Granted.

But we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I would be more liable to agree if there were those present who were not familiar with me or with RinkWorks and might have been confused about what, exactly, was going on even AFTER the explanations were exchanged. When newbies do come in, I'm even queasy about less controversial joking, like "ahcker" talk and so forth, because I'm concerned about first impressions, especially on the web, where they matter more than ever.
But the fact of the matter was that not a soul was present that didn't already have an understanding of where I am. I am vocal enough here and in RinkChat for anyone who cares to pay attention to understand where my religious views are, and my political and social views too, for that matter. Furthermore, every one who was present now knows I was joking, and, prior to finding out, did not even know it was me.
Don't get me wrong. I do get what you're saying, and would concede your point on principle; I'm just disagreeing that it applies in this instance.

I think that's appropriate. As the site owner, I'm partially responsible for what Dave says here on the grounds that I've designated him as a RinkChat administrator with authority. Plus, the frat boy deal was my idea, not that anybody else knew that before right now.
