I haven't even read this whole thing yet. I'll respond in detail tomorrow. I'll just explain this bit today.

What you need to understand if you weren't there was that I wasn't actually /in/ the chatroom when this whole, erm, "thing" took place. I was actually watching it on Kaz!'s computer. So technically what happened was that I logged on, said "That was NOT funny," and left, precisely in that sequence. The reason that I left was because I didn't really want to get involved in any discussion, (which was why I wasn't on Rinkchat in the first place) and because I wanted to let the thing unfold, in case anything else happened (it didn't). So the fact that I left is no big deal; the fact is, I wasn't really /there/ in the first place.

Why I felt that I had to come in and say that the "thing" was not funny is, however, something that I'll tackle tomorrow.
