/me (well, my sister-in-law who is currently staying with /me and /me 's wife) had a Super Good Day yesterday, too. She's been interested in Culinary Arts schools and just e-mailed a request to the New England Culinary Institute for a free catalog -- and they called her about an hour after she sent away for the catalog! And said that she might qualify for a $5000 scholarship! And a discount on housing! And they'd like to have her visit *this weekend* to see if she likes the place and if so, she can apply for the next semester, which starts on December 11th! And, even after explaining that she's got a Christmas vacation planned between the 15th to the 27th, the admissions guy said that they'd be able to work around her schedule!

Wierd, huh?

I think the school gets funding based on how many students are enrolled by the start of the semester. That's the only thing that makes sense. How else could this offer be so good?
