spending 401k

My wife is spending her 401k by putting a sunroom on the back of the house. You'd be surprized at the fallout from such a project. The whole yard has to be redone. All those trucks flattened about half of the grass and the bobcat that dug the footers uprooted the rest. The carport is stacked with insulation. My shovel is broken and my hammer has disappeared. I had to move a bunch of junk to make room for the room and everything is in disarray. (Hey, that's a word I don't use often. Did I spell it right?) The squrrels and the chipmonks are all stirred up and I'm afraid to tell you what we found in the basement. No, I guess I have to. Rule 6, y'know. Somehow we disturbed a nest of black racers. They are non-poisoness snakes that are really are helpful because they eat mice. But you don't want them inside the house. We found one in a pile of debris in the back yard, one in the basement and one on the carport. We saw one in the crawlspace under the utility room, but it could have been the one we found in the yard the next day. Construction workers don't like snakes so at least three of the little rascals have gone to the great snakepit in the sky. So what do YOU do for excitement? :-O
