Weird is right. My cats *hate* the car. If I let them out of their boxes we put them in for visits to the vet, which I often do, cause they hate them too, they try to crawl under the seats, and that's a pain. I'm always afraid they'll get stuck, or we'll move the seat when they're in there. : (

Actually, last time we took Max to the vet (actually my dad too him), he...erm...sprayed the front passenger seat. It was gross...and smelled horrible forever. Finally, Dad sprayed some kind of air freshener in there, which was just as bad. Even now, after the freshener has worn off, you still smell the cat smell. So that combined with the freshener is *disgusting.*

Needless to say, I don't like my dad's car much.
I don't advise riding in it at all.
It's a mess.
