Fear of needles is one thing, but I don't get being upset by being exsanguinated. That was the BEST PART about giving blood, the one time I did it. Body fluids draining out of my body in a controlled manner. I mean, how cool is that? It's like looking out a plane window. It's something nature would not have us ever see, yet thanks to modern technology, we can, and we can do so perfectly safely. How cool is that?
