While in France a few years ago for a class trip, I took several film rolls of pictures. A few of them turned out quite good. I just scanned one that I took while on a boat in the Seine River and submitted it to an online contest. (I spent quite a long time touching it up, too; what was dust doing on the *inside* of the glass plate of the scanner?) It can be found at the link below.
