I believe that MissyChar's comments about adoption were comparing it to abortion. (She was referring to Ticia's comments which incorrectly assumed that MissyChar favored abortion.)

Carrying a child to term and putting it up for adoption is clearly a better thing to do than preform an abortion on the unborn child.

Of course, I'm a bit biased.
